until the 14th. June, 1913.

That you being on the 17th. April, 1913,

That you did improperly and contrary to duty on the 14th. June, 1913, obtain a money order in rupees for the equivalent of $100.00 only and remit the same to the said Deputy Commissioner.

That you did improperly and contrary to duty retain the balance 113.93 until the 10th. day of September, 1913.

I am therefore to call upon you to state in writing before the 10th. November any grounds upon which you rely to exculpate yourself.

I am also directed to remind you that you have been interdicted from the exercise of the powers and functions of

your office as from the loth. July, 1913, and to inform you that until proceedings have been taken for your suspension you will be allowed to receive two-thirds of the salary of your office.
